It’s made from volcanic rock that’s been crushed, melted, and carefully stranded into fibers that are woven into a tight weave for maximum strength and flexibility.

Exhaust Wrap is not designed to be removed or altered once it’s been installed and heat cycled. The fibers will lose their flexibility and ‘bake’ itself into place. Removing the wrap will effectively destroy it, so keep this in mind before removing the wrap. Do not wrap flex-pipes or flex-joints, as these items will move constantly and will not work well with the wrap. Additionally, we do not recommend wrapping exhaust systems made of titanium, as this can cause the alloy to become brittle and crack.

Install instructions:

Wet exhaust wrap in cold water for 3-5 minutes prior to wrapping and installing. Recommend using stainless-steel zip ties to secure exhaust wrap every couple inches. Cure with heat gun before using on vehicle application for best results.
