Since 1996, we’ve been living and breathing Honda and Acura performance. What started as a father and son wrenching on 2- and 4-door Honda Civics quickly turned into a full-blown obsession with unlocking the full potential of Japanese imports. Back when stock SOHC engines just weren’t cutting it, we made the leap – discovering the raw power and thrill of swapping in Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) DOHC VTEC engines. From that moment, it was game on… and we haven’t let off the throttle since.
Our very first project build was a 1996 Honda Civic LX 4-door with a manual transmission. We dropped in a B16A DOHC VTEC straight from Japan, and it was like lighting a fire in the scene. It was wild, it was different, and it turned heads everywhere we went. That project sparked a movement – and soon everyone wanted in on the JDM engine swap game.
Over the years, the engines evolved and so did we. From the B18C out of the legendary Integra DC2 to the H22A from the Honda Prelude, and eventually to the mighty K-series – the K20, K24, and now the L15T – we’ve stayed at the front lines of the Honda performance revolution. Even though the L15T doesn't carry the same punch as its K-series predecessors, it still delivers reliability and serious potential when built and tuned right.
