11th Generation Civic Type R Project Build

Our team wanted to share some details about the ongoing build of our 2025 Honda Civic Type R FL5, which has been a passion project for us. We're excited about the modifications we've done so far and the ones we're planning in the near future. Here's a breakdown of the parts installed and the upgrades made.

PRL Charge Pipes and Intercooler

To start with, we've installed the PRL charge pipe and intercooler. These components have made a significant difference in performance, enhancing airflow and improving cooling efficiency.

PRL High Volume Intake Kit

Next up, we've added the PRL High Volume Intake Kit (HVI). This intake system has really opened up the car’s breathing capabilities, allowing for better throttle response and a noticeable increase in horsepower. The sound it produces is also a great bonus and helps give you that turbo whoosh noise that you're looking for!

PRL Rear Motor Mount

To ensure all that power gets transferred effectively to the wheels, we've installed a PRL rear motor mount. This upgrade has significantly reduced engine movement, resulting in a more solid feel when accelerating and shifting gears.

Acuity Shift Bushing Kit

Shifting gears has never been smoother thanks to the Acuity shift bushing kit. This upgrade has provided a much more direct and precise shift feel, making each gear change feel more satisfying and controlled.

PRL Titanium Inlet Pipe, TSP HEDP 5" Downpipe, and Front Pipe from PRL

We've installed the innovative Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe Kit from PRL along with their 3" Front Pipe. In addition, we've added the TwoStep Performance 5" High-Efficiency Catted Downpipe with the PTP Hybrid blanket.

Titanium Strut Tower Hardware & Turbo Inlet Hardware

For weight reduction purposes we have swapped out the OEM hardware on the Strut Tower and Turbo Inlet cooling line with Burnt Titanium hardware.

Upcoming Modifications

Full Bolt-On Catback Exhaust w/ Valvetronic

Our current exhaust is much more noticeable with all of the current modifications and we're enjoying our subtle pops and bangs thanks to Jester however we are looking for the ultimate exhaust kit to compliment everything that has been done to our project build so far. HPT Cooling Plate by WOT

To ensure optimal cooling under harsh conditions we are getting ready to install the HPT Cooling Plate engineered by Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
